Our Commitment

The CURATOR project is dedicated to making scientific research accessible to everyone. That commitment extends to this website — we want every visitor, regardless of ability, to be able to navigate, read, and engage with our content comfortably.

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and the Luxembourg RAWeb 1.1 framework. This website is currently partially compliant with these standards.

What We've Done

  • Designed with clear typography, sufficient colour contrast, and logical page structure
  • Built with semantic HTML so assistive technologies can interpret our content
  • Ensured full keyboard navigation across all pages and interactive elements
  • Provided text alternatives for images and meaningful link labels

Known Limitations

We are aware of a few areas where accessibility can be improved, and we are working on them:

  • Some images uploaded through our content management system may not yet have descriptive alternative text
  • Certain PDF documents linked from this site may not be fully optimised for screen readers
  • Third-party embedded content (external widgets or media) may not meet our accessibility standards
